What is Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment?

Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT) is a simple technique using one needle or up to four and requires only one treatment. Dr. Soliman has spent many years performing clinical trials as a pioneer in auricular therapy, proving Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT) is a safe and effective method of reducing allergy symptoms in a short amount of time. Over a decade of SAAT protocol and notes, Nader Soliman, M.D. found that his SAAT technique has helped to eliminate allergies and thousands of people have been treated and had their symptoms alleviated with this specialized form of acupuncture.  During this time, Dr. Soliman found that no recurrence of the same allergy was reported except for hormonal fluctuations due to puberty, pregnancy, and menopause.

The SAAT treatment can help trigger the body to help an allergy or a sensitivity naturally recede. This auricular (ear) acupuncture treatment is painless for most people and has been medically accepted by the World Health Organization.

How does it work?

This treatment is very simple and convenient. The consultation, testing and treatment are all completed within the first visit and often in under 30 minutes.

The confirmation testing is done without skin pricking, blood tests, or direct contact with the suspected allergen. After confirmation a very small and specialized, 3 mm acupuncture needle is inserted into the ear. The needle is then covered with surgical adhesive and a small patch bandage. The needle will stay in the ear for 4 weeks and the allergen sensitivity retested at the followup appointment.

Avoidance of the allergen is recommended throughout the treatment period. After needle removal, the allergen should be slowly reintroduced over the course of a few weeks. In severe cases, such as those that react with anaphylaxis, it is recommended to avoid the substance entirely. SAAT aims to desensitize you so as to avoid anaphylactic reaction to accidental contact or cross contamination.

Who can get SAAT treatment?

Anyone over age of 5 can receive SAAT treatments. Patients with food allergies, environmental allergies, and seasonal allergies have all reported significant reduction or complete elimination of their allergy symptoms with SAAT. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
